Taiwan’s indigenous defense sub returns to Kaohsiung

Taiwan’s first indigenous submarine, the Narwhal, also known as Hai Kun, completed its second sea trial Thursday as it returned to Kaohsiung Harbor. The first trial took place on July 17, and additional tests are planned, with all trials expected to conclude by the end of September.
