Measles epidemic unlikely in Taiwan: CDC head

Measles cases have hit a nine-year high in Taiwan, but a measles epidemic is unlikely because a high percentage of the population has been vaccinated against the disease, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director-General Chou Jih-haw (周志浩) said Monday.
