Urban resilience drills held in southern Taiwan

“Urban resilience drills” were held across southern Taiwan on Wednesday, including in the port city of Kaohsiung, where traffic control and civilian evacuation drills were carried out following an air raid alert issued at 1:30 p.m. Originally included in the plan, Tainan did not take part in the 30-minute drills due to ongoing recovery efforts from damage caused by Typhoon Danas.
