Mercury drops to 15.2 degrees Celsius in New Taipei's Tamsui

Due to strong northeasterly winds, the mercury in New Taipei's Tamsui District fell to 15.2 degrees Celsius early Thursday morning, the lowest temperature recorded in a flatland area of Taiwan this autumn, the Central Weather Bureau said.
