The next-generation AMD EPYC processor, coded "Venice," will be the first high-performance computing (HPC) processor on the market to use Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s (TSMC) advanced 2 nanometer process, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) said Tuesday.
