Notice to allow visit to detained Taiwanese 'a charade': NGO

Although it initially appeared as if China had agreed to allow the wife of detained Taiwanese human rights advocate Lee Ming-che (李明哲) to visit him in jail, "it was all a charade," said Chen Yu-fan (陳雨凡), executive director of the Judicial Reform Foundation Tuesday.
