Taipei, Aug. 22 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Friday, shedding NT$0.080 to close at NT$30.585.
Turnover totaled US$1.764 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at the day's low of NT$30.540, and moved to a high of NT$30.682 before the close.
