Taipei, Aug. 21 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Thursday, gaining NT$0.197 to close at NT$30.505.
Turnover totaled US$2.006 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at the day's low of NT$30.320 and peaked at NT$30.518 during trading.
