Taipei, Aug. 18 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Monday, gaining NT$0.046 to close at the day's high of NT$30.056.
Turnover totaled US$890 million during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$30.030, and moved to a low of NT$30.006 before rebounding.
