Taipei, Aug. 5 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.009 to close at NT$29.927.
Turnover totaled US$659 million during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$29.900, and moved between NT$29.875 and NT$29.941 before the close.
