Taipei, July 4 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose sharply against the Taiwan dollar Friday, gaining NT$0.103 to close at the day's high of NT$28.931.
Turnover totaled US$1.108 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$28.830, and moved to a low of NT$28.792 before rebounding.
