Taipei, July 2 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell sharply against the Taiwan dollar Wednesday, shedding NT$0.166 to close at NT$29.019.
Turnover totaled US$1.271 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$29.170, and moved between NT$28.950 and NT$29.210 before the close.
