Rain forecast to ease in central, southern Taiwan next week: CWB

The heavy rains that have been drenching central and southern Taiwan over the past few days are expected to taper off overnight, giving way to more stable weather conditions over the next week, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said Sunday.
