U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, Dec. 18 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Thursday, shedding NT$0.010 to close at the day's low of NT$31.516.

Turnover totaled US$1.318 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$31.550, and moved to a high of NT$31.595 before falling to the day's low at the close.
