Taipei, Nov. 21 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose sharply against the Taiwan dollar Friday, gaining NT$0.135 to close at NT$31.430.
Turnover totaled US$1.663 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$31.340, and moved between NT$31.298 and NT$31.450 before the close.
