Taipei, Aug. 29 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Friday, gaining NT$0.017 to close at NT$30.605.
Turnover totaled US$828 million during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$30.560, and moved between NT$30.525 and NT$30.605 before the close.
