Taipei, Aug. 8 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Friday, gaining NT$0.035 to close at NT$29.855.
Turnover totaled US$807 million during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$29.800, and moved between NT$29.770 and NT$29.862 before the close.
