U.S. dollar closes higher on Taipei forex market

Taipei, July 30 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Wednesday, gaining NT$0.013 to close at NT$29.719.

Turnover totaled US$878 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$29.680, and moved between NT$29.655 and NT$29.725 before the close.
