U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, May 26 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.088 to close at NT$29.935.

Turnover totaled US$1.323 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$30.000, and moved between NT$29.857 and NT$30.040 before the close.
