The Hsinchu-based Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) marked its 50th anniversary on Wednesday with an address from President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), who encouraged the institution to continue leading the way as Taiwan cements its position as a key high-tech hub worldwide.
