Sunny, hot weather with afternoon showers forecast for Taiwan Sunday

The weather around Taiwan will be largely sunny and hot on Sunday, with central and southern parts of the island and mountainous areas expected to experience intermittent thundershowers in the afternoon, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
