Champi strengthens to typhoon; Koppu expected to bring rain to Taiwan

Two typhoons have developed over the Pacific, but so far, only Typhoon Koppu is projected to clip Taiwan, depending on the angle at which it turns north, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said Wednesday.
