U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, Dec. 22 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.003 to close at NT$31.523.

Turnover totaled US$908 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$31.510, and moved between NT$31.495 and NT$31.556 before the close.
