Catcher Lyle Lin (林家正) on Tuesday announced his withdrawal from Taiwan's World Baseball Classic (WBC) qualifiers roster after signing a minor league deal with Major League Baseball's (MLB) Oakland Athletics and receiving an invitation to spring training.
