Tropical storm strengthens into typhoon; sunny to cloudy skies Saturday: CWA

Tropical Storm Fung-Wong strengthened into a typhoon early Saturday, with sunny to cloudy conditions expected across most of Taiwan during the day, the Central Weather Administration (CWA) said.
