Cold surge advisories issued Monday for New Taipei, offshore counties

The Central Weather Administration (CWA) issued cold surge warnings on Monday for New Taipei and Taiwan's offshore Kinmen and Lienchiang counties, as a period of persistently low temperatures is expected.
