Domestic rapprochement above Taiwan-China detente: expert

A Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) expert said on Sunday that internal rapprochement within Taiwan is more important than detente with China and warned that if the government ignored dissenting views, "it would eventually lead to a more divided Taiwan."
