Taiwan to expand ban on free plastic bag use

A ban on offering free plastic shopping bags to customers will be expanded to another 80,000 retailers, with the aim of reducing plastic bag use by 1.5 billion bags per year, the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) said Sunday.
