The arbitration case filed by the U.S. contractor that designed the reactor system at Taiwan's fourth nuclear power plant will not affect the mothballed state of the plant in northern Taiwan, the construction of which has been suspended, the state-owned Taiwan Power Co. (Taipower) said Friday.
