DPP urges China to free Liu Xiaobo

Taiwan's ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) on Sunday urged China to unconditionally release China's first Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo (劉曉波) and his wife Liu Xia and allow Liu, who has been diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer, to receive the best possible medical care.
