Taipei, March 5 (CNA) Taiwan's Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported 10,307 new cases of COVID-19 and 60 deaths from the disease on Sunday.

Among the new infections, 10,090 were domestic, which represented a 21.1 percent week-on-week decrease, according to the CECC.

To date, Taiwan has recorded 10,105,039 COVID-19 infections and 18,203 deaths from the disease since the pandemic began in early 2020.

The CECC announced on Feb. 23 that it would stop releasing detailed daily information on new COVID-19 cases and deaths.
