MOTC proposes higher fines for drivers failing to yield to pedestrians

An amendment has been proposed to increase fines for drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians at intersections as part of a campaign to improve road safety, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) said Friday.
