Internet usage in Taiwan up to 82.3 percent

Internet usage in Taiwan jumped from 62.7 percent in 2005 to 82.3 percent in 2017 due to the ubiquitous use of smartphones and other mobile devices, according to a National Development Council (NDC) survey report released Friday.
