KMT vows legal action over pension hikes for retired police, firefighters

The opposition Kuomintang (KMT) on Friday promised to provide legal assistance to retired police officers and firefighters affected by the government's refusal to budget pension increases mandated by a bill passed by the Legislature and signed by President Lai Ching-te (賴清德).
