President thanks departing pro-Taiwan U.S. congressman via phone call

President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) called American Congressman Eliot Engel, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, on Monday to thank him for his longstanding support of pro-Taiwan bills and for speaking up for democratic Taiwan.
