Young students need gender equality education in Taiwan: groups

Several civic groups on Thursday called on the Ministry of Education (MOE) to continue to push for a gender equality curriculum in Taiwan following concerns over the inclusion of gay rights and sexual orientation topics in the new curriculum for elementary and junior high students.
