Taipei, July 3 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell sharply against the Taiwan dollar Thursday, shedding NT$0.191 to close at NT$28.828.
Turnover totaled US$1.225 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$29.000, and moved between NT$28.800 and NT$29.019 before the close.
