The value of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Taiwan approved by the government in the first seven months of this year fell more than 29 percent from a year earlier on a high comparison base from the same period in 2022, when foreign renewable energy developers pledged large investments in the country, the Investment Commission said Monday.
