Phoenix promises to help Taiwan's chipmaker TSMC complete fab on schedule

Authorities in Phoenix, Arizona, where Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) is building two advanced wafer fabs, have promised to provide necessary assistance to the world's largest contract chipmaker so that it can complete its first wafer fab on schedule and begin commercial production next year, according to a local business leader.
