Housing transactions in 6 major cities up despite Ghost Month

Transactions of residential and commercial properties in the six largest cities in Taiwan rose over 12 percent from a month earlier in September, defying the conventional wisdom that consumers tend not to buy homes in Ghost Month on the Lunar calendar, according to market statistics.
