Notebook shipments forecast to rise 8% in second quarter

Worldwide notebook computer shipments will post better-than-expected figures in the second quarter of 2012 thanks to launches of new chips and ultra-thin laptops, as well as the recovery of the hard drive disk supply, a British investment bank predicted recently.
