Shares of Hon Hai lose steam on HP spin-off fears

Shares of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.,  the world's largest contract electronics maker, underperformed the  broader market Tuesday, suffering losses amid fears that a possible  spin-off of the PC assets from Hewlett-Packard would cut orders placed  to the Taiwanese firm, dealers said.
