Mercury could dip to 16 degrees in northern Taiwan

The weather in northern Taiwan will turn dry and cool Saturday as seasonal northeasterly winds strengthen and areas from Chiayi northward could see temperatures falling to 16 degrees Celsius at night, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
