Expert warns of 'disastrous' rain Thursday through Sunday

The Central Weather Bureau on Tuesday issued a forecast for extremely heavy rain across Taiwan Thursday through Sunday due to a weather front and moist southwesterly air currents, while a meteorologist warned that the weather conditions during that period could be disastrous.
