Taiwan proposes peace initiative to settle Tiaoyutai dispute

President Ma Ying-jeou proposed a peace initiative Sunday to address territorial disputes over the Tiaoyutai Islands, urging neighboring countries to show restraint and to seek peaceful means to settle the issue.
