Locals not doing well on LPGA Taiwan opening day

Taiwanese players did not do well on the opening day of the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship Thursday, with professional Tsai Pei-ying (蔡佩穎) and amateur Chang Ya-chun (張雅淳) firing a one-under 71 to tie with eight others to rank 14th, while once-world No. 1 Yani Tseng (曾雅妮) was placed 73rd with 79.
