[INTERVIEW] Taiwan’s manpower, energy policies top industry concerns: AUO chairman

Taiwan is facing a looming manpower shortage and clean energy issues, according to Paul Peng (彭双浪), chairman of display panel maker AUO Corp. and head of the 4,000-member Taipei Computer Association. In an interview with CNA, he urged Taiwan’s government to be more open on immigration and come up with a plan to lower its electricity carbon emissions factor.
