Taiwan’s youth prepare to go to the polls

With the Taiwanese presidential and legislative elections just around the corner, much of the international focus has been on the different party’s approaches to China. Although cross-strait issues are important to young people, in that they value the peace and freedom they have grown up in, for many, what is more important is which party they believe can offer them hope for the future as they battle against low salaries and the rising cost of living.
