International Creole Day celebrated in Taipei

Music and dance rocked the Diplomatic Quarter in Taipei on Thursday as the international community celebrated International Creole Day. The event is marked on Oct. 28 annually to celebrate French Afro-Caribbean Creole culture around the world. Diplomats and Taiwanese officials showed their support for language preservation, reflecting the country’s appreciative attitude towards world cultures.
