Taiwan's Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim said the country must accelerate the development of its drone industry to strengthen its defense capabilities and avoid giving Beijing reason to misjudge the country's resolve to defend itself.In an interview with CNA on Aug. 21, Hsiao also urged support for the central government's special budget for drones, saying delays could cost Taiwan valuable time in developing technology and production capacity while eroding the confidence of international partners.This video presents the full interview with Hsiao.
